Pipeline Road Birdwatching

Considered one of the best birding spots in the world by The Audubon Society, this 15-mile trip from Panama City to Soberania National Park is a birders dream come true. Panama boasts 954 bird species, more than the U.S. and Canada combined, and in this Panama Canal watershed, over 300 species can be spotted in a single day. The Pipeline, a former U.S. military road, takes you into a wildlife haven ideal for the observation of flora and fauna from the Pacific and Caribbean slopes.
